The Christmas Valley area in South Lake Tahoe is one of Tahoe’s most secluded and desirable areas. Nestled along the majestic mountains and below Echo Summit.  This is the area that you see when you come over the summit on Hwy 50 looking over the cliff.

Christmas Valley is about 10 minutes away from South Lake Tahoe and about 15 to 20 minutes from Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and the casinos. Christmas Valley is located south of Meyers along Luther Pass Road (Hwy 89) and the Upper Truckee River. Centrally located between Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood ski areas.

If you are looking for a quiet and secluded neighborhood this may be one to concider.  Many of the homes back National Forest land, have great mountain views, or even back the Upper Truckee River. The lots in Christmas Valley are generally larger than in the city.  The closest shopping is in Meyers where you will find Lira’s Market and Meeks Hardware.  There are also restaurants such as the Getaway Cafe and Divided Sky.
